RESUMO

As manifestações patológicas na construção civil são falhas que afetam a funcionalidade e durabilidade das edificações e podem ser causadas por fatores como projetos inadequados, materiais de baixa qualidade e mão de obra pouco qualificada. Investigar a origem dessas falhas para preveni-las é de extrema importância, pois garante a segurança, a qualidade e a vida útil das edificações. A escolha de materiais e profissionais qualificados, o cumprimento das normas e a correta identificação e compreensão das patologias são essenciais para evitar e corrigir problemas antes que se agravem. Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar as manifestações patológicas presentes em um templo religioso localizado em Cianorte, PR, “São Sebastião”. O foco principal foi identificar falhas estruturais e seus impactos na edificação, considerando as modificações realizadas ao longo dos anos. A pesquisa foi realizada com base nas diretrizes do IBAPE/SP (2012), NBR 16747:2020 e na análise da Matriz GUT. A partir de visitas técnicas realizadas no local, foi possível detectar diversas patologias, como fissuras, infiltrações, mofo, descascamento de tinta e gesso. Através da análise da Matriz GUT, nota-se que as infiltrações na fachada e nos revestimentos cerâmicos na parte externa da capela foram as patologias mais críticas encontradas. Portanto, é fundamental que sejam realizadas intervenções específicas e manutenções periódicas na estrutura da capela, a fim de minimizar a progressão de patologias presentes na estrutura e melhorar a segurança no local.

ABSTRACT

Pathological manifestations in civil construction are failures that affect the functionality and durability of buildings and can be caused by factors such as inadequate design, low-quality materials, and poorly qualified labor. Investigating the origin of these failures in order to prevent them is extremely important, as it ensures the safety, quality, and useful life of buildings. The choice of qualified materials and professionals, compliance with standards, and the correct identification and understanding of pathologies are essential to avoid and correct problems before they worsen. This study aimed to analyze the pathological manifestations present in a religious temple located in Cianorte, PR, “São Sebastião”. The main focus was to identify structural failures and their impacts on the building, considering the modifications made over the years. The research was carried out based on the guidelines of IBAPE/SP (2012), NBR 16747:2020, and the analysis of the GUT Matrix. From technical visits carried out on site, it was possible to detect several pathologies, such as cracks, leaks, mold, peeling paint and plaster. Through the analysis of the GUT Matrix, it was noted that leaks in the façade and in the ceramic coverings on the outside of the chapel were the most critical pathologies found. Therefore, it is essential that specific interventions and periodic maintenance be carried out on the chapel structure, in order to minimize the progression of pathologies present in the structure and improve safety on site.
