RESUMO

A orçamentação é um processo fundamental antes de iniciar a obra. É a partir do orçamento que o cliente tomará conhecimento do custo previsto para que seu objetivo seja alcançado. A etapa de levantamento de quantitativos para alcance do custo final, quando realizada de forma manual, pode ser um procedimento lento, além de exigir muita atenção e o máximo de detalhamento possível dos projetos. Considerando que, muitas vezes, o orçamentista tem pouco tempo para realizar essa etapa, ocorrem falhas nos dados, oriundas da falta de detalhes do projeto. Essas falhas podem gerar quantidades de serviços acima do adequado, podendo ocasionar prejuízos ao cliente final, visto que, isso irá ter consequências nos custos. Desse modo, o presente trabalho teve como objetivo analisar as contribuições da tecnologia BIM na redução dos erros e otimização do tempo no processo de orçamentação. Para isso, foram realizados comparativos na etapa de levantamento de quantitativos, de forma manual e utilizando softwares. Como resultados, apresentam-se contribuições no uso da tecnologia referentes ao processo de orçamentação quanto a: redução de tempo do processo, qualidade na informação dos quantitativos, e, consequente diminuição de erros no custo da obra.

ABSTRACT

Budgeting is a fundamental process before starting the work. It is from the budget that the client will learn the expected cost to achieve its goal. The step of collecting the quantities to reach the final cost, when done manually, can be a slow procedure, besides requiring a lot of attention and the maximum possible detailing of the projects. Considering that the estimator often has little time to perform this step, data gaps can occur due to lack of project details. These failures can generate quantities of services above the appropriate ones, which can cause losses to the final customer, since this will have consequences on the costs. Thus, this study aimed to analyze the contributions of BIM technology in reducing errors and optimizing time in the budgeting process. As a result, the contributions of the use of technology in the budgeting process are presented in terms of: reduction of process time, quality in the quantitative information, and consequent reduction of errors in the cost of the work.
